CommentsIt's good that you have a site for Sephardics, there ought to be more of them. Want to learn something new about the Temple? Visit my web site described below: MESSIAH -- and the human form of KING SOLOMON'S TEMPLE? The temple of King Solomon was constructed in the hidden form of a composite man who is three persons: Jacob, the Levitical High Priest and the Messiah. For brief explanation and graphics click (or cut and paste) the URL below:

CommentsI an seeking any member of the Barzel family that I knew while on tour in Cairo during WWII. I met the Barzel family during this time and became very close friends with them. Father and mother both deceased in the 1940's. The oldest daughter was married to Abner Franco who worked at export business. The next daughter Mena she was not married when I knew her. The third daughter was Freda she was also not married at that time. The youngest daughter was Jackie she too was not married when I left Egypt in 1945. Mena was about 26 years old Freddie was about 23 and Jackie was 21 years old. They are Jewish and the father took care of the synagogue in Cairo. I have been told freddie went to Australia. If any one can give me married names or any information that I can contacted will be greatly appreciated. Loren L. Bailey

CommentsI'm truly sorry to have stated in my earlier comments that my favorite article on this site is my brother's "Breaking Away." Although our past is an integral part of us, we must all strive to bury the bad memories and forge ahead with only the good memories in tow. Egyptians, whether they be Christian, Moslem or Jewish, share attractive traits: a sense of humor, a generous spirit, a sense of fair play and an undeniable joie de vivre. Let's put all our attributes to good use. Does anyone remember "La Chanson du Nil?" paillettes d'or, sables de Louxor ...

CommentsThanks to your site and to Jacob Bousso, I found Lucien Viola a friend for 32 years already. An aunt of mine told me to ask about a Lili Nagar (maybe not the right spelling) she says she is family of ours and was a dancer according to what my father Salomon NATHAN told her. Anybody knows her. Thanks for the information. Regards. Mimi
