Who's To BlameMon, 23 Oct 2000 By: Joe Rossano In these difficult time for Israel, and the recent nonsense votes at the UN by the usual suspects year after year, leave no doubts as to their motives. Please remind your members that OUR MONEY should not be used to support such behavior and blatant display of an ominous and questionable partiality. If there is a blame, it should be clearly on their shoulders, after pressuring Israel to withdraw from the Lebanon border and the consequent kidnapping of the soldiers on Israeli soil. We haven't heard a word denouncing the event, instead they feel comfortable with the pack of bigots attacking Israel. One wonder if they have the same passion concerning the treatment of the Copts in Egypt and it's neighbor to the south, Sudan and the starvation of their Christian citizens. We should express ourselves to our Congressmen, Senators and every public official with clout, to at least stop funding that "snake pit of haters". From now on it will be a fierce public relation debates on the air and in print worldwide, we should not let our guards down, if possible nothing must go unchallenged, for the sensitive souls among us, remember there was never a discussion concerning our fate in Egypt under Ramses and recent past. Torquemada didn't consult with our forefathers during the inquisition. There was no pros and cons regarding the Pogroms. Goebels didn't give equal time to the Holocaust victims. After the demise of Russia, Arafat was left in the cold, his gambit: to get under the American umbrella using the pretense of peace, and accomplish what he couldn't do on the battlefield, with the growing influx of immigrants he hope to erode the American support of Israel, try to use the power of oil as it was done twice in the past and it is a fact that Moslems have passed the billion mark. It was very sad to watch on TV that young boy killed, over and over again worldwide, with the implication that Israelis are trained to kill children (are their parents at the beach?). The reality is the other way around, the attacks on schools (Ma'alot and in Paris), school buses, market and public places, on cruise ship (Klinghoffer) planes, synagogues and in Europe, Buenos Aires and yes in New York the world trade center building etc. etc. all these were carefully planned and cowardly executed. We must not forget that and remind it to the press, the apologists and for those deflecting the attention, by accusing Israel, of their own crimes, they are not the victims, they are the perpetrators. We are all for real Peace but not at any price, at Camp David the offers on the table were very generous by all accounts except the Palestinians who came empty handed and now we know clearly what are their real aspirations.
